A solution to fix the Icons and the jittery-camera issue!

There's a few things wrong with the world map, there's no difference (color-wise atleast) in the people you talk to for quests, turn in for quests, OR find quests on....
Mabe make one gold, one blue? N the quest givers as white...

Also, these are not shown on the world-map, every time I forget an objective i have to go back through my (laggy) journal and main menu to click the map button jus to wait another minute to finally see all the objectives of my mission, but are they all displayed at once? HELL no.....

please just take out this map command and add it to the world-map directly.. Also a right-click waypoint function would help in parties/solo-ing....

Probably more things I could spout about that need to be fixed (jump button? love how they just fixed it so u can retarded-ly fall/climb up every cliff rather than jus making a jump-animation and command...)

Also the camera acceleration is WAAAAY too fast for the pase that you walk, that's how u get the -stuttering camera effect- that annoys the crap outta me and probably anyone else that notices it... could be just my CPU? I dont really know but this is my major issue, my eyes hurt after 5 minutes of this jitter-ness..

There should also be voices in the game, atleast for the main storyline (but it's 2011, what did i really expect from a game in this era?)

All valid ideas but you have to consider that the devs NEED to prioritize quality content before they can start worrying about minor gameplay bugs and individual player's computer performance issues.

I agree to some extent that things could be made easier, but I also see that there are much more important things (in my humble opinion).

With that said, I do think the entire UI needs to be rewritten and remove the lag, it is almost unbearable. If the UI was much more free-flowing and responsive, the whole game would feel much better.

Ugh, yes, its REALLY bugging the crap out of me too

I don't notice the jittery-ness anymore (aside from town-lag) looks like 1.18 was a pretty giant leap towards a complete game... aside from the fact that they nerfed all the exp by WAYY too much, I thought of a few more tweaks that could add ease-improvements as well as a mount idea for better travel.
I wouldn't mind raising my own chocobo as long as I could call it whenever I wanted, (aside from during minor leve quests), they could rent you a chocobo pass that expires after x(2?) hours and when you unmounted your chocobo it would jus graze around the area you left it. Or you could have it so you can only unmount near fences?/someplace to tie your choco/trees etc.

As for UI improvements and other issues needed for 1.19:
-ability to walk away from npcs/stores/bazaars to cancel dialogue.
-the enter function doing more than just brining up your attack bar when you're highlighted on a friendly player... (bazaar/check?)
-a quicker way than /t <t> to talk to someone without the use of the keyboard..
-maybe add /trade /tell /invite /add friend under the bazaar/check area in the main menu
-multiple windows open at once from all menus... IE (gear and main menu) (bazaar & main menu) (etcetc)
-a 'create waypoint' button past the map button in the journal. (works only in the same zone)
-a way to log out/get booted/pc crash during a levequest and not fail the entire thing. (probably would take alot of work to implement this around the current levequest system)
-Minor issue: a right-click 'create waypoint' function on the main map?

all in all, keep up the good work.. next we need a way to alt-tab and not kill the game. Like when I'm running background processes and winrar pops up, I fail the levequest...
"Oh well you can run windowed-fullscreen..." yeah... at the cost of 20% reduced framerate... -.-; not everyone has supercomputers LoL
