Need help with /ft macro
Playing with a controller, I can't turn my character while casting so I often get my long cast times as a BLM interrupted. I recently found out you can follow a target by typing /ft and it will rotate your character while casting and focus on the enemy.
It'll also help on melee characters and a bard I'm guessing, as when I run away I don't face the enemy so I miss out on auto attacks.
Is there a way I can make a macro involving /ft without needing to think about using it? I tried typing /ft twice while targeted to the same enemy and it canceled it, so i can't put it on every action, and making it a button by itself to manually press every time I change targets sounds tedious

I have my L3 button set to 'Face Target'. So if the target is running past, I push down on L3 and it faces the target and does not get interrupted.

You can modify what your buttons do? Currently L3 is lock-on/dismount/sheathe/draw weapon. Can you tell me how to change it from lock-on to face target? I've tried lock-on before thinking it would follow the target but it doesn't seem to.

It's under System settings, Controller, map buttons or something like that. I hated that lock on target thing that is defaulted to one of the buttons. I have R3 as my sheathe weapon and L3 as the face target.

Aaah thank you so much! No more canceled flares!
