Online Stats Tracking

One other thing I was curious about, I'm level 31 on my first character and I can't seem to find a place online to see for instance, how many guild heists I've done, or fates I've completed. Is there a way to view these kinds of stats online or in game? Thanks :)

You can check your achievements to get an idea of how many fates, leves, heists and other things you've done. Either in game or on the lodestone.

I would like to know if there is anywhere I can see my play time? I tried /played like wow but it didnt work :-(

You can actually but it's capped on certain point. It's under Achievement window. For example, you want to see how many guildhests you done. Open Achievement window and select Quests tab. Guildhest is "Serving a Greater Cause" achievement. Click it to see how many have you done so far. And for FATEs, it's under Battle, titled "Date with Destiny" achievement.

You can use Raptr application to track your playtime in game. There is no in-game playtime tracker though.

The Lodestone will only show which achievements you've gotten and which you haven't. The in-game achievement window will show your progress towards getting them, which is where you can see your actual stats (at least towards achievements that you haven't gotten yet).
