suggestion raids i want my war

i look at the opening movie for the game and ask why is that not a raid why are we not fighting hordes of enemies why are npcs not joining the fight i want a real raid i wanna cut through 100s of enemies run into bosses in the middle of there army i want to feel like we fought through hell and we emerged victorious bring the pain bring the blood bosses currently are a joke memorize and dodge thats like if i shoot a enemy in a room and all his comrades stand there going durpa durp bring the war give us a challenge and for gods sake give us a real fight

i am not against the mmo idea but we can do so much more i remember the old square games npcs where some of the best characters in the game and when they pulled moves out your jaw droped and was like why cant i have that im still mad Raubahn Aldynn is never fighting by our side he is like a 14 version of t.g. cid could only imagine what glory he would bring in a fight the this is 2014 we have so many resources that we can do so much in a game

Wrong game series, this is Final Fantasy not Dynasty Warriors.

And that battle in the opening was never available to players in version 1.0 (the closest players got to that was killing small groups of Garlean soldiers just prior to the shutdown of version 1.0). I hate to say it, but given sever stability, I don't think you will ever see something of that magnitude in FFXIV - FATEs are about the closest you'll have to that.

As for 'danger', take off your fancy ilevel 100 gear and animus weapon and switch back to your starting gear, then go walk, not run, through any Garlean base or beastmen stronghold and see how long you last. I don't think you'll last long ;).

lil history lesson ff1 was make with the mentality that it was gonna either save square or bankrupt there sinking ship and they poured there heart and soul in it pushed the envelope and created a masterpiece and every other game they where pushing out up through the 90s was amazing new concepts characters where well rounded and not just main characters to but npc where well thought out with there own story's scenery was well done then they stoped and let the dollor drive them they where a superpower in the gaming world using there name to sell instead of there product we as gamers expect more then cookie cutter mmos we want more we want epic level fights we want to be rewarded for our time and money spent you say this isnt dynisty warriors your right but guess what wow had a raid that was in the middle of a war and it was amazing nobody said it was dynisty warriros this is square the most imaginite company that has hands down the most successfull staff next to prob nintendo why do we expect cutty cutter bs we shouldnt blow our minds give us that next leve of new content push the mmo through the roof and make it there own that is the real square
