Return/Raise controller derps

I do this quite a lot, and a few people I play with who use controller do too..

You're fighting a boss and you die, the return screen pops up and you're so keen to get back into the action that you mistake it for a Raise notification and hit X...oh no I have just warped out

It is so much easier to just hit a single button on a controller to accept things (which defaults to yes anyway) than it is to move your mouse and click yes..

So to help out me and any other premature Raise/Return derpers, I propose that once you select 'Yes' on the Return box, a further "Are you sure?" option then appears.

What's annoying is how hitting the cancel button by accident will close the Raise popup AND cancel your Raise status. If you were opening the chat log to see things that were said or to look for whatever it was that killed you (wtf else are you going to do while dead?), it's easy to do something like this. FFXI never allowed you to cancel your Raise by accident in this fashion, so to me this feels like they went a step backwards in design.

It should remain as a notification, like a party invite, unless you actually decline the Raise.

Another thing this is a problem with: vote dismisses/abandons.

Calm down and read lol it get hectic but the few seconds you spend between notification could make or break that run.

Simple answers often the best.

Cross Button - Release to Respawn
Triangle Button - Accept Raise

Yes I have accidentally cancelled raises too ;) my pet hate is if you are in a party and someone ports...you were about to select x for something else and you then get ported because the notifcation defaults to yes as you were pressing x -.-'

I support this. And I want another question box with "are you sure to be sure about the previous question ?" and afterward a "if you are sure you are not sure, click yes, if you are not sure about being not sure about the previous question click yes, else click no" box.

Well now that is just silly. A single message to verify would be sufficient :) you do not have to take the mick when I am highlighting an issue that may effect other players and cause frustration to them! Like the whole autorun/camera zoom issue that got fixed. Some said it was trivial and "just don't zoom while running" well..

Think about people using autofire. They may have clicked twice with only one verify message :(
If we can help them from feeling frustration, anguish and a itchy sticky finger, why not ?

The only situation I press X during a fight is to target the next enemy (L2 (or R2) + X don't accept anything if there is a command in the specific slot). If I'm dead, I would press nothing.

Best would be if Return works like in 1.0
No window pop up and the player need to activate it themself
