Item Filter or rare item priority Square Enix!?

This has happened to me SOOOOO many times: I empty my inventory, do a few dungeons, go to get some amazing item, it drops, but then I don't get it cuz somehow my inventory is ALREADY FULL! I JUST DID ODIN FOR MY LAST ODINS MANTLE NEEDED FOR ZANTETSUKEN AND IT WAS FULL!

Here's an idea Square: Make it so you can click an option for whether or not to pick up dropped items from monsters, just click it once and you get no random useless drops til you click it again.

OR make it so when you get an item of a certain rarity, instead of just dropping it and waiting GOD KNOWS HOW LONG til you can get it again, ask the player if they would like to drop a different item in their inventory in exchange, like EVER OTHER FINAL FANTASY!
