Crafting as Goldsmith bug with Manipulation

If you are crafting as a Goldsmith and your durability gets down to 10 and you use Manipulation it is supposed to freeze your durability (restore durability) over the next 3 turns but if you use it and then attempt to continue crafting it will fail synthesis. Basically like it is trying to go from 10 durability to 0 back to 10 but that's not what happens no matter what durability you are at. If you are at 50/70 and use Manipulation it and continue crafting it stays at 50 for 3 turns. This doesn't seem right. Please advise.

After each step, so at the end of the step it must be higher than 0 in order to not fail. If it doesn't fail, then it restores 10.

In your example, its going 50->40, checking for fail, not failing so it goes 40->50. It's not 'staying' at 50.

True but it's also not going from 50->40 either, the durability stays at 50. It should visibly subtract and add if that's the case.

It likely is server side, just not client side (which i must admit is odd)

If you finish a synth successfully while manipulation is up, it also will not give you back 10, and will display the durability at the point of completeion (40, if you started at 50 with manipulation up).

Weird, but not a bug.

Yeah, it technically subtracts 10 and gives 10. It's only useable at 20+ durability. So, maybe SE can put that on the skill card

They did. It says it makes you gain 10 after a step.

If you actually use Manipulation on action which do not decrease the durability it will go up by 10. So you either need to use it at 20+ if you plan to use actions which decrease the durability or if you use it at 10 you need to follow it by action which will not decrease it. It works correctly.
