There is too much information in the battle log to be useful.
Please consider adding a tab that is abridged that lets us see totals of only our own damage done, healing done, damage taken, healing taken, overhealing done and crit/miss rate with the ability to reset the information at our will.

Just needs more standard tabs. 4 isn't enough.
They need to update the scrolling combat text more. I want the debuff and buff scrolls and maybe my own damage but I dont need to see all the numbers poping up and down left and right.
Also customizable status effect filter. It's really annoying being a drg/mnk with another drg/mnk in the party and having my disembowel/dragon kick removed from the status effects because I set it to display only my effects but the other drg/mnk refreshed the debuff.
Maybe even add that option to my own status effect display. I can see my protects/buffs on the party list just fine. Having them on my options can distract me from my own self buffs. Or at least make my own much more prominent outside of making it most left.
Options, options, options. Gotta have more.

E.G. total damage done since last reset = 67,000 or something.
You're basically asking for a parser dude... Add-ons are in the future so some of this might be possible at that point.
