Hi,
I have a new computer I want to put ffxiv on. It doesnt make sense for me to have to buy the game again for new codes, right? When I try to load the game, it give me an error saying my code is already registered. It is, on my old computer. I was able to verify my code from amazon, which is neat. same error message. I didnt see any thing on the support page about this...
any solutions?
You don't need new codes if you registered on your old computer.
Just skip the code registration and log in as usual.
It is not letting me skip. after I run the installer, I have to choose with or without a SE account. I chose with account and it prompts me for me username/password. Then asks for the code.
I dont see anything on the old computer to "release" the code....
You do not have to input the code again... Close the window that asks for registration code if there is no skip...
Take screenshots of what you see if you need more help...
You can't "release" the code from the old computer as the code is registered to your account, not to your computer.

Ive tried downloading a different install. To no avail
my launcher is upto date: 4.22
On the first screen, do you click next or one of the two options?
Have you tried just closing the window? (click X in upper right corner)
It's pretty straightforward. Ill just give SE a call in the morning...
