Been on 3102 for over 30 minutes...What do I do?

How do I go about logging my character out from the main screen?

Close the client and log in anew and see if you can reach your character.

3102 usually means your character is still logged in from another location, logged in by someone else (compromised), or you were recently disconnected, and the servers haven't registered you were disconnected. If you add a token to the account from the account management site (account.square-enix.com), it kicks off whoever is logged in (compromised account not usually the case, but this rules it out)

If it's disconnection, try power cycling your router > Reconnecting

Beyond that, might be port issues. In this case, contact your ISP and tell them you want to forward the following ports:

TCP
54992 - 54994
55006 - 55007
55021 - 55040

I have the exact same problem whenever I get disconnected. Got nothing to do with connectivity. Just SE crappy servers not being able to recognise when you've been disconnected.

I really don't understand why a new login attempt from the same IP doesn't just kick the old one. That would make so much sense. . .

This also poses a security issue. If someone hacked into your account, you will not be able to override the hacker's log in.
