This system from Kabod Online (Korean MMO) very impressed me when I tested the close beta of the game
should we have it for FFXIV? of course with non nudity

Shirt Rippah!
Oh Korean MMOs you ammuse me.
Unfortunantly there probably wont be any of that going on in FFXIV. Maybe someday there will be visual equipment damage :P.
Vindictus has the same system except no nudity is involved. Its a neat system for the hack-n-slash MMOs, but I think FFXIV would not benefit in having a system like this.
This just reminds me about how I always wanted to be the 'battle-damaged' Goku character in all those DBZ fighting games.
I'd love for items that need to be repaired to look worn and damaged
yeah i agree. even if the sword looked dirty after usage or took on a rusty look. maybe the bow would start having the string start coming apart. these things would also help you identify what needed repairs without having to look at your gear screen. you would be like "ok it's just my shoes damaged i can go a little while" or "oh no my wand is damaged i got to get it fixed now".
now like was pointed out on top no i would not like it to show nudity or anything like that when the clothing gets damaged. i could just see all the males that play mi'thras wearing damaged shirts around town because it showed their boobs.
While I'm not averse to such a system, I must also request that I can "Hulk out" and tear my shirt at will.
