Distant Beliefs is looking for 5 - 10 new players!

Restless Corpse, here, with Distant Beliefs. With the new surge of players from the PS4 release, and the general popularity of FFXIV bringing in new players all the time, I know many of you have likely never played an MMO before this one, and it can be pretty rough starting a new MMO without an established group of friends. We're here to help new and established players alike.

Your level, ilevel, gear, skill, job, platform and progression is irrelevant. What's more important to us here at Distant Beliefs is your attitude, how well we can get along, and your willingness to learn. Distant Beliefs has been together under this name since the North American release of FFXI, and we're a family, but we're a family that greets new members with open arms. We're helpful and knowledgeable about every aspect of the game, from lore to mechanics of some of the toughest content. You won't be carried, you will be taught and made to understand your role in anything we do.

What we're looking for from you:

- Distant Beliefs members are expected to respect the community at all times. We don't participate in drama, whether it's on Shout or in party chat, etc, and we don't rage quit when things aren't going well.

- Distant Beliefs members are expected to respect each other at all times. We are a family and we're all friends here.

- You will be expected to participate in raids and events. While we aren't a fully hardcore FC, we do push content. In the peak days of FFXI, Distant Beliefs was the #1 raiding/HNM LS on Kujata, and back then we were very strict on raid schedules, usually raiding 6 days a week, mandatory. We're all older now, and we have lives, so we've decided that FFXIV should be a game, and be fun rather than feel like work. And while some members may joke that I run them ragged with raiding, we are pretty lax with our scheduling. With FFXIV's current raiding structure, you get what you put in.

- You will be expected to know your class, job and role within content. Luckily, we're here to help you. We're knowledgeable in rotations, gear sets and strategies in almost all content, and all you need to do is ask.

- Loyalty is held near and dear to our hearts. We're not here to clear content for you so you can join bigger and more successful FCs. We're here to help each other grow and have fun.

- You must be able to take a joke, and you must be able to shrug off pranks and give as good as you get. If you're main tanking Twintania, and everyone runs into the conflagration for the lulz, and this pisses you off, this may not be the FC for you.

All of this being said, we want you to feel comfortable learning, failing, trying again and succeeding. No one is going to yell at you or think less of you if you make mistakes. We all do. As long as you understand why, can admit you were wrong or messed up, and can move forward, you'll never have anything to fear from us.

Hi guys, this Jyin from DB In ffxi, and I remember you Cyrus lol. Does Takigurl play this game?
