Why would you have that slot painted if the tail was going to clip through the armor anyways?

On male Miqo'te the tail go a bit to the side after leaving the body, while on female Miqo'te the tail left the body straight down.
Just ask a female Miqo'te to undress to compare the tails.
The easiest way for SE to fix it would be to remove the curves in the male Miqo'te tail. -
