I dunno, I don't have a problem with it personally. It just shows that the forums are alive. I don't think it inconveniences anyone, and if it does then not by much. I enjoy pointless threads or threads about things unrelated to ff14.

I don't see why being like FB could be a bad thing. I dunno, that's just me :P
