Help me find this thief

Hi, I just need some tracking down a player who stole all our gil that we had raised for FC and moved to this server. The players old name was Faywin Fellstrider but has since change his name. What I do know about him is that he has a lvl 50 brd and sch and just transferred here yesterday at around 8 pm est. He had been a memeber of our FC since the start and yes maybe I was dumb for giving him officers rights. Plz help me just because he deserve to have action taken. SE ofc says they can do nothing about it.

check his lodestone page. it should have his new name on Midgard.

If this user has last made an action in your FC, his/her character activity will get logged into the lodestone activity under your FC activity list and any name change will apply in the older notifications so you can track from there. Hopefully you can find the culprit ASAP.

It's too late. .that name is no longer in the lodestone. Most likely the gil was passed off to a accomplice or an alt before they deleted that character. But more than likely they hacked someone else's account to do all this.

Google the name, i just tried that and found someone on midgard.

Google led me to a lalafell on catuar named Chibi Kawaii..when I typed in faywin fellstrider.

seeing how they have both a SCH and BRD at 50, it could be your guy after a name change and fantasia. also, they're on midgard not cactaur :/

google probably had a cache of the page when they were still known as Faywin or whatever. not sure if you understood what I meant, but their character ID, the one Lodestone uses to track you, won't change even if your name changed. Searching for their name obviously won't work.

also jsyk, all their gear was crafted by cactaur people

That our guy! I had wrote down all his job levels before the lodestone changed over to his new name. He matches them and but it looks like he may have changed races. Thank you all so much. Im sure SE still wont do anything but at least I can let him know he didnt just get away with it. If he is in your FC you should watch out

100% confirmed that my guy. Dont take any action against him yet plz just help me to confront him and get back whats mine plz

You can't call out players by name on the official forums. I suggest you edit your posts before SE takes action against you.

I am very sorry your FC was exploited like this. Make sure you never give gil access to any officers. Only the FC leader should have access. Also restrict who can promote to only the FC leader. There is some sort of bug that allows members to promote themselves above their rank and gain unintended permissions.
