Awesome idea for Moggle Mog HM.

So once the second phase starts, all the Moogles are bunched up together right in the center. So what if...You got 6 BLMs and one tank and one healer in a pre-made, then had them all Raging Strikes > Flare > Convert > Swiftcast Flare right at the beginning? Would it be enough to get them half health or more? And what if you had one of them LB on them additionally?

Umm. . .one of the strategies for a while now has been to just drop a mage LB3 on them and call it done.

If you're not doing it the "Stun the defenseless BLM Mog" strategy though, could all that damage match an LB 3 across all targets and have nearly the same effect? Even if it was just 3 BLMs and a Bard. I'm guessing that tanks wouldn't like it much because no one could hold aggro to three or more Flares right off the bat though.

You would need to make up for 2,400 potency, and that assumes that LB2 hits all the targets. AF3 is, what, a 1.8 multiplier? 260 for Flare times 1.8. . . 468 potency, if I have the multiplier right? So, somewhere between the 5th and 6th casts it should make up, assuming that all potency is the same (which it isn't).

Don't ask me to do any maths or to vouch if yours are right ha, I just got BLM to 50 today. The idea popped into my head randomly to try this when I got Mog for my Trials Roulette. Everyone would need to be geared somewhat appropriately yeah to compensate for the combined potency. Might make a Party Finder for it at some point for giggles.

Is the radius on Flare even big enough to hit all the moogles?
