Materia Transmuting

I really like the idea of being able to use my low level materia for something other then tanking up space, but when i use a crafting or gathering materia i should get a crafting or gathering materia otherwise there is no real point to this. I would suggest that when transmuting since it requires 5 to perform have the resulting materia based one what was used, for example if 2 combat and 3 crafting are used then the result will be a crafting materia. At least this way the transmuting will serve somewhat of a logical purpose.
