Gil spammer deterrence

Can you consider the idea of another form of communication? It would be similar to a /tell but would only be accessible by people on your friends list.

If this was available I would be able to filter my /tell and receive 0 gil spamming messages.

Sounds good.. until I think about the times I have asked questions in general and get a whisper back.. that would make those circumstances impossible =/.

I only help in /tell.

My solution for individuals is an option to turn off tells and if someone sends a 'tell' they get told the person cannot receive it. Not best solution but it IS one.
