After This Brief Message SE PAY ATTENTION!!! Yoshi and Devs take a nap!
Ok, now I have been a fan of Final Fantasy since I was in the 6th grade... Lame I know but seriously this is suppose to be the RPG that sets a standard for all other RPGs so to sit back and watch you guys fall off and look up to games like WoW, Rift, DC Universe (OMG How could you?! You guys are gods among rats!). Some people may look at this as a rant or a troll but to be real with you SE (since your finally listening) you guys are F***ing up. When you release a game you guys have always set a standard for example:
FFVII: Graphics were ahead of its time and to this day no RPG (said MMO earlier) has gained as much praise.
FFVIII: Graphics ahead of its time story line not as good as previous but was a great addition to the Final Fantasy Series.
FFIX: Great game hands down classic went back to the raw roots of RPG history.
FFX: Starting to see a slight decline in exploration and real heart being put in. Great story great graphics!
FFXI: Great story mediocre endgame content but as a MMO it was not as strong.
FFXII: Loved it but was missing more and more of the Final Fantasy roots.
(except here) FFXIII: Horrible WTF were ya'll thinking? Linear and no real content!?
5 things wrong with the approach of FF as a MMO
1) Linkshell - WTF!? All linkshells are is a bunch social colors they have no control nor influenence but what players make them to be (I will get further into this).
2) End Game - Some praise XI end game but being a FFXI / Lineage 2 / Black Ops / WoW (horrible game btw but has great content and I only played for like 2 months) / player end game has always lacked luster. To those who doubt it go play XI to true endgame then play Lineage 2 or WoW (even though wow did suck just not as bad as XI) way more to do in other MMOs then in this one.
3) Previous XI players input - Stop f***ing listening to the people who want another XI with better graphics! Build the game this game meant to be. Level syncing, rangers need to have duals seriously we're not suppose to be archers. Archers use bows and only bows...rangers are RANGERS we suppose to shut tha game DOWN!! (I am btw a career ranger I hate being called a archer I mean wtf you make me sound weak), dynamis, etc. Build this game to do what every FF has done which is set the bar higher and amaze its fans.
4) Content - Yoshi is trying to deliver the impossible for that I applaud but Square you need a dayum reality check! No one cares anymore that this game is a Final Fantasy you have trashed it with years of bs. So you put it on one mans back to fix... GTFOH!! I do not doubt that yo is able but damnit help him do you not remember why this game is called Final Fantasy (For those of you whom don't know Square was going under and had enough to push out one last game so they named it Final Fantasy and gave it their all, pretty soon that game became one of the best if not the best RPG ever made and set a standard along side Dragon Quest and Breath of Fire)? Square seriously save your franchise cause if you let Final Fantasy fail you fail. Regardless of what you think, when people think Squaresoft (or Squareenix) we think Final Fantasy so give us what we need and stop bsing!
5) Danging I'm tired of telling you how to do your job! Why do fans have to tell you what we want you guys have been around for decades WTF get it together and get to work!
OK now that my rant is done let me get to the real reason I'm writing
WTF IS A LS GOOD FOR?!?!
Seriously where is LS gear (gear that is uptained by the linkshell and tagged by a leader in party during the gaining of that gear that can be tagged as LS gear and automatically put into LS bank)? Is that too hard?
I understand having multiple linkshells but where the real clan/guild/loyalty aspect? Is that too hard?
Why not have gear that shows LS symbol on it? Is that too hard?
How about giving Linkshells more of a real clan feel? Is that too hard?
How's about this, give Linkshell leaders the ability to drop and recruit without a person being on or near? Is that too hard?
Linkshell housing (Non-Instanced). Is that too hard? Well maybe that one is a stretch....
Linkshell levels ex:
lv 1 125 Members 5 leaders;
lv 2 150 Members 7 leaders;
lv 3 175 members, 10 leaders and linkshell housing;
lv 4 200 members 10 leaders, linkshell housing, linkshell influenced gear (linkshell emblem on gear);
lv 5 225 members 10 leaders, linkshell housing, linkshell influenced gear, the abilty to do Linkshell lv 5 content;
lv 6 250 members 12 leaders, linkshell castle (non-instanced bulit by crafters), linkshell influenced gear, lv 6 content;
lv 7 250 members 12 leaders, linkshell castle (non-instanced bulit by crafters), linkshell influenced gear, lv 7 content, upload your own symbol as a linkshell emblem.
Also I know I may catch alot of heat for this cause I wasn't a real big XI fan but how about giving the option to LS creators to choose rather this is a Exclusive (you can only have this LS) or non exclusive (you can have multiple linkshells) option.
What I am asking is that SE give Yo some help no one man can fix this (there I definitely can be wrong). Give the whole dev department a raise they are working their arshes off. And give the players a game worthy of the name Final Fantasy... work as hard as you guys did back in 1986 for your 87 release... I'm just giving suggestions I could be wrong and I'm not expecting my way to be the right way... please people be gentle I'm just stating my opinion.
PS WTF WHY DO WE NEED JUMP? I HATED WOW!! ONLY THING GOOD WAS THE PvP BUT NCSOFT WITH LINEAGE 2 SHUT WoW PvP and PK down!!!
Us fans have not forgot why this is called Final Fantasy its cause this was a all or nothing game Square start acting like this is Final Fantasy cause your fans have beat you to the punch...

The numbers of ls members was just an example of progression not to be taken literally could be progressing to 50 members all im saying is a building type system
