Matches are too damn short!

You expect me to sit around for 30+ mins to get into a game that can be over in under one minuet?! That I might not even win, Seriously? I'm going to cut you devs some slack because you're JP and not really keen on the whole PvP thing, I'll offer some solutions instead.

Couldn't you guys at the very least make it a best of 3 matches but keep the same reward system, That way I might actually have a chance to you know... to progress, and PvP in the limited amount of playtime I have without abusing the system like others have...

I understand you guys are trying your hardest to accommodate westerners and other PvP lovers and it can be hard with such an INCREDIBLY VOLATILE fanbase..... but we NEED a system in place that works!

Even something as simple as a rematch system would be nice; I wouldn't mind losing to the same people consecutively if it meant that I didn't have to queue again. >.>;

Make matches best out of three.

Move the victory reward to killing enemies, with diminishing returns for killing raised players and ignoring pets. So if you kill four enemies, you get four times the current reward. If you lose, but kill two enemies, you get the reward you deserve for putting up a good fight.

Move the PvP Challenge Log to the PvP Profile, expand it, and add Wolf Marks as well to the rewards. Since 2.28 is letting us change points whenever, why not, at the very minimum, take the current two challenges and make it based on Class? Win three matches as Conjurer/etc.? That encourages people to play other Classes and effectively degears them, giving players who've yet to get significant Morale gear a chance.

Since they are making all skills available we'll be seeing probably more pvp players as well as a meta. :(((((

It was already bad enough that everyone is like you can only build your whm a certain way in PvE, then it'll happen in pvp.
But the + side is i'll get to spec my remaining points into the vit stat and hopefully atain 6k+ hp with pvp gear and 7k+ hp with pve gear. :D
Though why didn't they do this from the start tho :/
I'm hoping for less than 10 sec non stop Qs in all ranks :3
That'll make the grind less tedious from 1-30 and 30-40.
Also since frontlines is coming out soon it'll be a good way to encourage ppl to prep for it.

THE RENT (and ques) ARE TOO D**N HIGH!!

I loved pvp and the initial pre 2.25 grind to 30 was decent, but after being able to get only 1 fight since the patch... that's right, one fight on my rlvl30 char after hours of waiting on different days, you'll see me when front lines comes out. I usually defend pvp, because I find it fun, but damn, this is the most broken pvp because of the queues I've ever seen in my life for a game with such a big budget.

Agreed!!!!! I took a month or 2 off and re-subbed about 2 weeks ago, and its terrible (as a DRG), sometimes its fast but most of the time its at least 10-20 minutes. I fully agree that a best of 3 would work best under the current situation, as long as you got points for each round. (Patiently waiting for frontlines for months now). I know everyone says this isnt a pvp game blah blah, but i dont have a working gaming comp anymore (or I'd be back on DAOC) so this is all I got. Fix this sh*t Yoshi.

People who say "It's not a PvP game' need to sit down and go enjoy their PvE... they have nothing relevant to add... the fact is I'm not a hardcore PvPer.... I'm hardcore about trying everything the game has to offer and I want the designers to put their best foot forward in all aspects of the game, not just the "popular" ones.... If something is added into the game they need to treat it all as if it were equally important or don't bother adding it. This is a Final Fantasy game we have come to expect greatness and greatness we shall have! THis is a MASSIVE step up from the PvP in FFXI but it still needs some work and fortunately they are tying with Frontlines and what not but what does that mean? Does that mean they are just leaving broken content in and trying to distract us with something else or is it an overall solution?
