Please Advertise the PS3 Version Effectively

Haven't seen a post about this and I tried a search, couldn't find anything.

Please, SE, for the love of the Twelve (yeah, I used it D: ), PLEASE market your game effectively once you decide to release the PS3 version. We want this game to be successful as much as you do. However, when the PC version launched I barely saw any commercials for it. I didn't see any advertisements on websites or anything either.


Ideas to effectively market the PS3 version:

1) Advertise through websites such as ZAM and make SURE you make a facebook group to make sure people know it's out there. I know I would "Like" it to make sure some of my friends saw it!
2) Make sure you make a NEW commercial and advertise it as a revamp version so people know something has changed. Make sure this commercial is shown often.
3) Along with the release of the PS3 version, create a digital downloadable PC version to go along-side it and release it through Steam on sale. This would get people seeing FFXIV again. And I know for a fact that when people see sales on Steam, they WANT that sale. It doesn't matter if you have to sell it for 30 or even 50% off. Get the people playing again. I don't know if you know but your product is being sold normally on Ebay for around $18. It currently has low value, so don't try to sell it at full price on steam at first. Make it some sort of "Rerelease Special" or something.
4) Get interviews with not only Japanese sites but also with review/news sites like Gamespot, IGN, as well as Zam. This way, Yoshi's voice is heard beyond the lodestone and he can talk about how much the game has changed since launch.

The world should know your product is better (at the time of PS3 release). Make sure they do.

Any other marketing ideas?

They did, but only a small bit. I saw a couple commercials but the commercial really didn't explain anything. It was just a few seconds from the beginning cutscene and then a showing of the name and then done. After it was released I didn't see anymore commercials for it. I saw zero advertising done online.

that's why they'll start advertising when they really think the game is ready

I think they should change the box art as well when they finally finish revamping the game. They may also want to consider adding a subtitle such as "A World Reborn".

I was about to mention this too. I never saw any commercials for it, and I don't remember even seeing banners for it.

Ok, but that isn't what I'm asking for here. I'm not saying "ADVERTISE NAOW", I'm saying: "ADVERTISE EFFECTIVELY when you get close to selling the PS3 version". I wouldn't want them advertising the game right now. Not before we even get the battle updates. However, the fact that we'll probably be getting the PS3 version within the next 6 months, they should at least start thinking up some marketing strategies for their product.
