Dear Dev,
Now the dismiss button is assigned on the most frequently used button, R2+O,
so quite often, pet is dimissed by mistake.
Could you please consider to provide an alt. buttons assigment or swapping option for the pet Xhotbar?
Thank you.^^

Dear Nico,
I'll do my best.
Please look forward to it.
There's an option in Character Settings for whether to use the Pet Crossbar or not. What I (and many players) do is turn off the Pet Crossbar, and place the pet commands on one of the regular crosshotbars instead. That way you can arrange them as you like.
I want to use the preset ExHotBar because the action buttons will change to the corresponding pet-commands dynamically.
I just don't understand why [dismiss] will put on R2+O which is the most frequently used button, usually assigned to the most frequently used ability ^^;
I think we should be able to modify the pet bar as we please with only pet actions. Its really irritating to use because its backwards from how I would have it otherwise. I put my actions of my normal hotbar for now, but what irritating about that is the fact that there IS a pet hotbar and I could save that space for other actions.
Yeah I was put off making my own when I released the pet hotbar was special in that way, and consiquently, because I like to tap R1 between hotbar sets 1 and 2 on all my other classes, I was put off arcanist altogether.
However, thanks to the genius of Ilydia Infinitum's macro's I've been inspired to try another solution:
Here Ilydia demonstrates how we can dynamically re-slot our hotbars, when a macro is pressed.
=Massacre Mode: ON=
/macroicon "Cleric Stance"
/s Mode Change!: Massacre Mode: ON!
/crosshotbar change 1
/crosshotbar set "Fluid Aura" 1 RD1
/crosshotbar set "Regen" 1 RD2
/crosshotbar set "Holy" 1 RD3
/crosshotbar set "Presence of Mind" 1 RD4
/crosshotbar set "Aero" 1 RA1
/crosshotbar set "Aero II" 1 RA2
/crosshotbar set "Stone II" 1 RA3
/crosshotbar set "Stone" 1 RA4
/ac "Cleric Stance"
I've yet to set it up myself, but the concept would be that you replace the regular summon icons with macro's that re-slot your own pet cross-hotbar as you would like it for that particular summon. If I get round to it soon I'll post the results here. If someone else does first, or is already doing this, please share here too ^^
