Legacy of Allag FATES

Besides the fact that they take FOREVER TO SPAWN --

No one seems to be doing them! I barely managed to get Stopping the Shakes done -- the first time I tried I wiped, and the second time it was sheer luck that a FATE group was in the area.

I've tried Making Waves...four times now? And each time a) by the time I get to where it is I have a train of like six sahagin, elbsts, and axolotl on my ass that I cannot get rid of, b) i'm 100% alone besides my chocobo, and c) i'm a bard, no self heals besides second wind and potions. I've died each and every time and by the time I get back there, the FATE is over.

So pls either make it easier or change how it works, because I really want into CT!!!!

(....Or someone explain why no one's doing it anymore? I tried asking my FC to help me and they all but laughed and said "lol CT sucks don't bother" so I can't even get them to help me.)

Honestly, CT really is a joke now. No one but trolls and clueless n00bs infest the CT so you'd be annoyed at that way more than trying to unlock the CT to begin with. Most of the players already got their fill from CT and don't need to run it anymore.


Seriously, try imagining a CT run without anyone in the 24 player group whining whenever someone screws up.

OMG... I think "unlocking CT" itself is an explicit objective, CT sucks or not really don't bother.
Everytime I saw player in hard FATE fighting I did help. I wish I could help you out.
By the way, maybe you should let your FC members know that you really want to unlock it,
Last week I joined 10CT bcoz I want to complete a set, 3/10 were terrible, 2/10 were good, others still ok.

The reason it took forever to spawn is could be the map reached its limit of how many FATEs can appear at the same time on it.

Also the reason Crystal Tower became redundant is because people can speedrun myth tomes for the ilvl90 gears now, CT also takes more than half hour to complete and only gives the ilvl80. People only run it for the gears to glamour nowadays or just plain bored.

Forget to mention, yes, 9 of 10 my latest CT runs had trolls. I said it was ok when not everyone were clueless n00bs ^^;

Thing is, I mostly want to do CT for FFIII nostalgia value (andthegearbci'milevel68...) -- I don't honestly mind if we've got bad players, 'cause I'm not the best one in the world either. Just wish it were easier to unlock... but thanks tho~ Wish more people were like you -- can't count how many times people just run past when I'm trying to solo a FATE...
