DoL DoH Dungeon

I haven't put a ton of thought into this, but as I was reading through some of the posts that asked for a DoL/DoH raid/dungeon I came up with an idea that could work as PvE or PvP. I'm calling it Castle Seige. Basically it would require the DoL and DoH to work together to either stop a Castle Seige or complete one. They could base the requirements on the classes that are involved (pair botanist with carpenter/weaver/etc, miner with smithing/etc.) In the scenario the DoL would have to gather the materials for the DoH to craft into materials for NPCs to use in the Siege (you could use items that you can find outside of instance or just make up new ones) I like the idea of miners gathering ore and smiths making cannon balls and BOT gathering wood for carpenters making arrows or ladders, alc making bombs and poison (use your imagination), heck, you could even have fishers catch sharks for a moat. You could make it on a timer or just progress until there is a victor.

I love the idea, but it's pretty much the same as the Hamlets, if anyone remembers those...

I say they bring them back, probably the best way to get DoH/DoL involved.

I figure you get a party of L50 Miners, and go attack Titan in the Navel.

Miner's should get an instant crit with 5x damage modifier. He is a bunch of rock.

The way u explained it. Instead of a dungeon. Make it like a mini defense game.

As said, in 1.x, we had Hamlet Defense for relic. It does get DoH/DoL involve in multi-player gaming, but, it was also a HUGE HUGE HUGE resource killer. LSs would spend hundreds of man-hours just to secure that top 3 position, which may or may not be yours.

I remember that. Wasting about 1 mil gil and long time preparation, only to come up like 7 or 8th place. Still got my reward in the end though.

The last minutes are always became race of who got 1st position. Pretty epic watching the rank builds up fast back then. XD
