I have an elm velocity bow +1 and I'm a carpenter rank 8.. When I try and repair it it says I decide to wait until I'm a higher level.. I have an elm branch but it doesn't say anywhere what rank I have to be.. So what rank carpenter do I have to be to repair this bow?
Rank of the weapon -10. If the craft cap is lower than the item rank then it's -10 from that.
Elm velocity bow ia a rank 31 bow with a rank 40 recipe. The repair rank is the lowest of these 2 -10 so it would be 31-10 = 21.
So it can only be repaired by carpenters rank 21 or higher.
Easiest way: Unequip your bow, select it in inventory, "Seek Repairs", and put it up for like 2-3k. Then go stand in front of the Ul'dah repair NPC for 5 minutes and someone will likely fix it for you.
