The key insight we have to share is that there are only three formations and which wyrms dive first is known by which formation they are assuming. This allows for a level of simplicity when dealing with the divebombs because it removes any perceived randomness and follows a deterministic model.

We derived our our chart by examining our own recordings of the divebomb phase. We cross-checked our findings by watching recorded videos from other groups and watching twitch streams of other groups. Furthermore, we found a capable group on twitch, who were at divebombs, and shared our chart with them: their successful use of it provided further merit to the accuracy of our chart.

We believe our chart to be true. But as in any endeavor of science demands, our findings encapsulated in our guide need to be peer reviewed. That is what we ask of you. Yeah we've been doing this for a little bit, stole the technology from a Japanese FC who was streaming it. It's pretty much accurate.

really good job on this... after a couple of days of dive-failing, two-shotted after you shared this with us on twitch. The only thing we found useful to add to your diagram was the location of the second divebomb, relative to the yellow triangle.

What are Alpha, Beta, Gamma sign at the middle of ring ?

I wasn't the author, but my guess is to denote the 3 different positions the dragon's can be in.

Yes.

Per the guide: Alpha, beta, gamma is marked on the formations to help communicate formation.

The way we do it, we mark the "safe spots" for each formation before we pull. Then when Phase 4 starts and the Dragons appear, we identify which formation it is as A, B or C. (Basically, what you call alpha, beta, gamma).

So when dragons spawn, someone calls out "It's B!", we know that B is the first safe spot for Divebombs.

Good to hear it helped out.

We do the same. Our "divebomb spotter" got tired of spending time placing the markers during the fight, so we now have them placed at the very start. It works well, but requires everyone else in the party to know how to handle the 2nd divebomb of each phase (other teams end up placing A and a B for the first and second).
