I kinda enjoyed that on the FFXI site. I'd like to see a return of it!
Swear that was simply one a server client in the office just watching a landscape with nobody connected to it.
on the PS4 you can stream through Twitch or Ustream... but imo the qualtiy is not the same.. , seems as if framerate goes down a small notch (which can take away the feeling of the game.., a part of FFXIV's goregous feeling, is the mostly smooth 60 fps ...)
I sometimes streamed on Twtich (channel: 01 Rai The Noblesse), but ever since it feels as if the stream is not 1:1 but a bit inferior, I stopped..
if there should be a good stream, then a 1:1 (at 60 fps)
Yeah, kinda like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpyHg96unHI
But a wider field of view... switch locations & worlds... jump into an a dungeon, instance, fate... maybe have the view pan in CT as an alliance works it's way through... some nice views of the sunrise as Costa & the sunset at Brewers Beacon.
would be cool to have live cameras with among others gorgeous landscapes, styled (and crazy) players, battles ect. (just watching it the background, ...just the sunset of beautiful panorama/angle, would be cool...)
was there an announcement, that Square-Enix might do something similar? isn't that youtube link from Square-Enix? why haven't the done the same for FFXIV??.
@ vid, suprised some are still playging FFXI, if if not many but still.. (excpeted all went to FFXIV by now... , nice that the servers are still up for that game)
...
if all PS4 (PC with live stream) players would stand idle in 1-person view, when not playing (about 8h a day), they're views could be live streamed and each used as different camera angle...every player would be place somehwere else, it could have the same effect as live streaming cameras all over FFXIV..
..but the PS4 resp. PC would have to be on all the time..., wonder if the PSnetwork could sustain so much
