I would love to see a cross-server Friendlist/Blacklist feature implemented in the future. I have met SO many cool folks from other servers whilst using DF, I think it would be great to be able to communicate and even group with others cross-server. I doubt we will ever see such a thing, but that doesn't stop me from wishing for it! "Emulating" a certain game companies version of this cough*battlenet*cough would be swell!
I really want to be able to be able to fate grind/do dungeons with my friends who are on other servers as well. Tons of games have the tech, and I imagine XIV probably are working on it whether or not that'll be coming soon or not I don't know, but I think Yoshi-p mentioned that they were working on it? I might've just made that up though lol, but I hope it comes :).
The Lodestone would provide a very good backbone for this. You can already look a person you pted with up and follow them. Setting up the friends list to ping that database can't be too difficult.
This post is dated, but it would be lovely to get a cross server friend's list at least - especially now that wait times for duty finder are getting longer. Are there any rumors about implementation? :)
