Error code 2002 and 90000

I bought this game last Friday, and it kicked me out with error code 90k when I first played and then I couldn't log back in. I was able to play last Saturday with no problems, but then Sunday came around and I haven't even been able to get into the game since (mainly error code 2002, sometimes 10105 I think). I heard there was a maintenance to fix the problem, and I'm not sure if it is now a problem on my side.

EDIT: I also meant to mention this is on my PS4, as I have seen solutions people suggest (pingzapper or something) that I don't think work for me because I am using a ps4 rather than a PC.

I see a lot of threads from Europe, but I live in the US, Georgia to be specific.

I tried resetting my router, port forwarding, static IP address, anything I could find.. and no help. Is anyone else in America getting this? I really don't want to waste the rest of my subscription without playing more than the one time I've played.

I started getting the 2002 error on friday afternoon. I have tried pretty much everything and can't fix it.

Yes, I am having the same issue. I have not been able to play the game in over 2 weeks. It started when I switched over from PS3 version to the PS4 version. PS3 version worked fine before that, and now I can't play at all, I just get 2002 or 90k errors if I even make it passed the character select screen.

I'm having the same problem on my ps4 just started a couple hours ago i was playing fine before that went to work and came home tried to log on and i keep getting either 90000 or 2002 still going through options i can find but looking at the list of things that others have tried I'm not very hopeful, I think the maintenance either didn't actually work or only fixed the problem temporarily

Well, I bought the game yesterday, installed it on the PS4.. and nothing but Error Code: 2002. I mean sometimes it gets through to the actual character creation.. managed to create one.. but then back to lobby error 2002. Oh, one time I even managed to get to the loading screen, and seeing the cute little moogle on the bottom right hand only to get another code. :(

SE, I actually bought the collectors edition back during your first FFXIV run, we all know it didn't go as planned.. oh well..
Now I was sort of excited after my buddy told me how great this game is, but at the current moment I am getting another bad taste of this game.

Its a bit annoying when my bud on the ps3 is playing with no problems..

So today I decided "maybe it was an installation error?" So I uninstalled and reinstalled, reset my internet connection on the PS4, and even went as far as disabling the firewall on the router, thinking maybe it was an issue there.

Nothing but code 2002, though at least now I seem to get a little further on other screens, made a new character on another 'world'

If you haven't already it probably wouldn't hurt to contact their tech support. I put in some comments on Sunday and all I got was the canned response check your ps4 connectivity, reset your router etc.... Really frustrating and doesn't really get us anywhere but it wouldn't hurt to ply the pressure on them.

All they say is the typical restart your router etc garbage as if we had not already tried that.

But we have at least something to look forward to there is maintenance tonight on ALL the worlds so maybe this is the fix on the servers we've been waiting for. if not i'll just have to cancel my service account and go back to DCUniverse online ;/

Never had a problem with this before. But since the last maintenance I'm getting it non stop. Can't log in most of the time and when I do get on I'm booted after about 10 seconds. Can't move my character or do anything in those 10 seconds :(

So, I finally got my copy of the PS4 to connect and work.

I ended up connecting the PS4 to the router directly via ethernet cable aka hardwiring.

So after finally marveling around the game a bit, for roughly an hour, without interruption at all, I was curious to see if I could play the game wirelessly..

Lo and behold, Error 2002 yet again.

So I'm not sure what exactly is the issue..
Other games I play perfectly fine, Call of duty, FIFA 14.
Netflix, Hulu, and crunchy roll stream w/o problems as well..

Oh well, I hope this info helps others to play the game!
