Hey guys, my friend just bought FF XIV ARR, and after he finished making his character he tried to join Adamantoise because several of his friends are on there, however, its telling him that its not accepting any new characters. Is he just royally fucked or is there something else?
If that happens it means the server is temporarily restricting new characters from being created there (reason maybe too much player entering that server or just to limit the irritating RMT characters), you can ask your friend to save the character appearance first, wait for a while and then try again later when the restriction is lifted.
You can check the server restriction status at lodestone, which updates every several hours.
