Negative Atma-sphere

I have done over 400 fates in Lower La Noscea and I don't even want to farm for this atma weapon... however, as it is something that will continuously be upgraded it seems like a necessary evil.

So... even with a drop rate of 1% I should have had at least 4 now. I have 0. I don't have a ton of time each day to farm... and so I will never finish at this rate. This is a lazy and annoying way to implement grinding into the game.

RNG is RNG... however, I think most people who play MMOs would agree that RNG is a terribly frustrating mechanic.

Further implementations of this nature will leave me no choice but to stop playing this game out of principle... and I like this game.

Eventually you'll get it. That's the whole idea behind it. I did over 1300 FATES before i got mine. It doesnt matter what system they implement, you're going to have to grind and spend time.
It's not like you're going to end up not getting it. Everyone will, eventually.

Best advice i can give you is to just change area's once in a while. That aways seemed (placebo effect perhaps) to help for me.


Start out in an area with fates that can be completed <2 minutes. Save the harder area's for last and team up with others (through the Party Finder) if they pop up to breeze through them instead of spending a lot of time.

I followed the hours=zone theory and got the first 8 rather quickly (2-3 fates usually), but it desn't seem to work anymore lol. Been stuck on trying to get Twins for a week now. Just focus on something else. I never fate-grind more than an hour (but it's usually 40 minutes at most) per day. I know it's meant to be a long quest and I treat it as such.
