Well, considering the real "armor" is for high-ranking (read: really trusted and/or brainwashed) soldiers/officers and is a symbol of rank...yeah, not going to happen

The only way we'd get anything close is if Cid and company started making Eorzean versions of Garlean armor, which is possible, but unlikely.

As PArcher said, a select few get the "judge" armor. The normal fighters all wear that black/red cloth armor (which we do get at one point and I have in my retainer). If we did get the armor, I could see it being spinoffs or reverse engineered examples maybe created by Cid.

We might see it in the future at some point, I think. After all, it's only a matter of time before we get an expansion to Garlemald.
Of course, that time might be a year or two from now, so don't get too excited just yet...
