Too Much Tedium, Not Enough Fun
There are some severely annoying aspects to this game that ought be addressed.
Atma farming, it's a dull time sink. If FATE's ever got more interesting (exception Bahamut/Odin), perhaps that would be something. But FATE's in & of themselves are quite dull. Please infuse some interesting mechanics/objectives into some FATE's... make certain ones like legitimate outerworld, dungeon bosses or something.
The world isn't threatening whatsoever, just irritating. Beyond basic circle or cone radii & chain-heavy preventing 'easy' travel through... what threat does the world offer besides a lame chore to rid yourself of the mobs or move in slow- motion past.
This game needs a TON of QoL fixes. A LOT of the systems are poorly coded or ill conceived. Transmutation for instance, so awfully slow & dull. Or GC Expert Delivery, why can't we simply "right click: turn-in". Or not being able to equip our retainers from their inventory. Or being unable to transfer goods from one tab to another without first withdrawal. Or the Menders... my goodness.
Utter tedium, why?
Also the PvP grind / grossly overtuned disparity between win/loss exp/mark reward.
Don't get me wrong, I love this game more than I dislike certain parts of it... it just needs a lot rework imo.
