Character creation restrictions - Odin server

I didn't know where else to post this and the tech support seemed like the most relevant section. Anyway, I've got several friends that are wanting to join me on the Odin server but the current schedule of restrictions are making it virtually impossible for them to get on.

I've been monitoring the post http://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...23e07acb3d22f6 and it seems that Odin is forever being restricted at 4pm (UK time GMT+1) until 7am or 12pm the next day. Then on weekends it seems to be on a permanent restriction.

So basically people can only create a character realistically between 12 midday and 4 in the evening, which for most people is during their working day. With this restriction schedule then my friends will never be able to join me because they are never at their PC's or consoles at the 'open' hours.

Are these restrictions going to be lifted or revised at any point soon? It's starting to put people off because they can't play where they want to.
