Is there a crit cap for monk?

As in the crit stats cap. I was able to hit 491 without food last night. Here's my lodestone:

With HQ Buttons in a Blanket, I should've hit 501 but it gives me 500 instead even though at lower crit (470), I gained the full benefit. Not a big deal but I was just wondering.
Edit: NVM, I forgot for 2% to be max of 10, I need at least 500 crit. 491 is close but it still gives 9 extra crit which boosts me to 500.

I thought that food boosts etc' don't show on the stats screen???? (I never really check myself)

I've always thought that the more crit the higher the percentage you deal critical damage. I've had 570 crit (with food applied) and about 36% of my attacks were critical hits, which was way more than anyone else, the second one had something just around 20%. We were doing T6.

Going for Crit/Det build? I'd say it looks pretty good. Maiming bracelet from T5 is about the only thing I can see that could boost crit a bit more. (Not too familiar with new Monk gear, I'm mainly Drg). Over 500 should be easily achievable.

I'm guessing you had the Tidal Wave/Wave Patas, Allagan Belt and Apkallu Omelette on when you did this? The more crit, the higher the percentage. That is correct. I was just wondering why I couldn't go over 500 but I'll switch tonight to the Vortex Ring and check. I was at around 30% crit when I was in T6 last night.

Always have. DET has twice as much return as CRT. I do want the maiming bracelet but turn 5 farm group rarely ever shows. Maybe I will when I get the Weathered Gloam Belt this week to make up for the loss of accuracy from removing Hero's. Maybe if I get lucky and get the Allagan Baghnakh, I can get the Saurian Gloves of Striking too.

I don't remember the whole setup, I've since changed it so I'm more Determination focused (everyone says it's better right now). But I had the Hero's belt (for the acc), it was the Hero's Necklace of Slaying I had instead for the belt. The Wave Patas and as for food I had Deviled Eggs HQ.
