Marketboard insanity
Talk about crashing the market on something... wowzers.
I mean, its something I want, so yay me for bargain prices but... wow.

No wonder the economy is sooooo borked. I know people want their stuff to sell first, but dropping nearly 200k in one shot seems.... stupid beyond all reason??
Maybe I just dont get it, but oh well, saves me a fortune.
-
well what exactly are you trying to sell?
Yes there's plenty of people who just don't think in the long term.
I personally price match or use the average sell amount, yeah it takes longer but my gil sack will be happy in the end of it.
-
It all depends on what happens when you press the sold history button. If none have ever sold for near 700k, but they always sell near 500k, then it is not so much undercutting as keeping the price where it was already at.
-
Two sold at 1.4 million... and one at 95k which was a pricing boo boo on the part of the seller I'm sure.
-
Just undercut by 1 gil.
That's why gaths 1 gil is worth more than your gil.
It's gathenomics.

Welcome to Eorzea, the only place I know of where people actually enjoy making less money. Not that there's anything to do with gil, but still.

My issue with the MB is when people sell it for way less than a vendor would pay. is frustrating going out gathering only to find everything you have gathered has crashed in price to less than vendor within the hour

I don't see anything wrong with this picture. If something doesn't sell at a certain price range, no one wants to buy it. So you value it yourself not by law of market board averages.. If this were reddit "let the downvotes rain upon me" LOL.
-
what Item was this, because I can almost assure you...it wasn't worth 800+k to begin with.
-
people get so use to undercut that sometimes you see stuff at lower price than the selling price to NPC lol
