High end secondary stat
I play a healer, I think it's really interesting how far you can push yourself with the secondary stat (not saying it's worth it for the loss of main stat) and how it will keep scaling higher and higher.
While every patch they introduce gears which doesn't let us to maximize a stat to its full potential, new secondary stat caps are also introduced via mix-match or pentamelding a crafted gear. For example, when there were previously only rose gold circlet for critical on the head, now we have gold spectacles, thus allowing us to stack greater crit in total than in the previous patch.
How great would a 1.77 spell speed on WHM or 30.3% crit rate on scholar be? What are your thoughts on this? Those are what I can come up with (assuming my calculations were correct)
Will 50% crit be the way to go once it's attainable? 1.5 spell speed? (I know 1.5 spell speed would be amazing, try using presence of mind and it's very noticeable)

I find the entire ARR stat system to be incredibly boring. Secondary stats don't even matter, they are just 'nice-to-haves.'
They really need to get their itemization sorted out and quick because I can tell you the motivation to get that iLevel 300 sword with the same stupid set of stats with bigger numbers a year from now simply is not going to be there. It's time to start putting effects on gear that makes choosing gear for a situation matter. I should be making choices if I want to use a sword that will increase the hate generated by Rage of Halon or a sword that increases the mana gain from Riot Blade, not if I want more god damn skill speed or determination. Ugh.

Uh... I don't think you have a realistic perception of those two stats. You'll need more than 1000 spell speed (1071) and almost 800 crit to get those stats. With stat caps in lvl 90 gear (since melds in pvp gear aren't usable in pve), this isn't possible even if it were possible to meld a weapon and shield (making 13 pieces total).
