Server muted?

I've only recently come back to the game, and I'm only about level 25 at the moment. I'm just wondering what's going on with the server in terms of people being around?

I went for probably 3 hours today without hearing so much as one conversation in shout. Not even a peep when I was in the cities..

I haven't been around since patch 2.1 was about to be released so it's been a while. Is it because there is some new place that everyone hangs out? Or is this just normal now?

The server does seem quite, but when you get near end game there are plenty of shouts, most people lfg for coil and tower.

If your looking for a group or an FC check out party finder. Easier to use than shouting for the zone to hear.

I just came back myself, and found the server population very low compared to when I left at the beggining of the school semester. Of course I haven't played much at prime time. Coreth was plant busy with Fate Groups yesterday though.
