What do we have to do?

I've reported and still this player bots. I will not say their name, but here are 4 different videos, on 4 different days of them botting. (Please ignore the chat block logo, need to update it to this server)

*I would like to thank all FC's that noticed him botting and removed him from the FC for it. It seems (as seen in the 4th video) this player made their own FC and SE doesn't care.*

you are still facing the possibility of a ban since their names are shown in the video I believe. Not 100% sure but it would be a shame for you to get a ban for pointing out SE sheer lack of action when it comes to bots. They will ban you in a second for something like this but bots stay for months. Makes no sense.

Well, I can only report so much. If i get banned for it, so be it, but I've ran out of options. Before I transferred servers there was a bot that botted for about 6 months before he was banned. Unless SE either puts something into place where plays recording a bot, botting can get expedited assistance to ban a player, there's nothing more we can do other than inform the community on our servers.

Were you around for v1? Oh man the bots and rmt were horrendous. They did nothing then either. After the announcement was made that they were deleting 90% of our gil I thought it was the devs way of giving the rmt a big middle finger as they clanked glasses and laughed but since so little has changed since relaunch I think its more an internal problem or se made a deal with some of them.

Its really nuts tho that legit players can be banned so quickly for so little but these guys go on and on and on no matter how many times they are reported.

It is weird though. I can submit a report about a guy calling me a bad name and I get a GM messaging me less than two hours later. Report a bot, "meh."

lol rumi, i've submitted bot reports as harassment as well, saying they are harassing me by killing mobs, selling the items on the AH driving the price of those items and the items made from those items down. And that causes harassment for everyone whose a seller within that market... still didn't work. All the GM's do is, "Send the report to the correct team who has the tools to handle the issue."

I believe you. I'm saying maybe you should say they called you a dirty name. That seems to get all the attention, maybe because it's a simple thing a level 1 CSM can deal with directly.

That wont work, they can look at your past logs

honestly, I don't want to lie about it.. i don't mind extending the truth, but if it happens ingame, they can see it. I guess as I get new vid's of botters, after 4+ I'll keep reporting them and posting vids here.. We'll see what happens.

I stopped reporting anything.
There's at least 100 names on my blacklist and NONE of them got deleted.
I mean, c'mon, if someone teleports from one gathering node to another, maybe even underground, for hours and days, what else is required to get these accounts banned for botting/hacking?
After reporting a char for almost 3 months, every few days when I came to his "spot" without any reaction or consequences, I gave up.
I'll just play along and sell the Dex items their archer farming bots buy at any price. You know, these legit players with names like Hmdrtosui Gtirucbdng...
