The Forbidden Land, Eureka is an optional dungeon in the game Final Fantasy III which contains some of the best equipment in the game. A gateway to it can be found at the bottom floor of the Crystal Tower.

Doubt it. We will probably need to find access into the crystal tower now that the first part of its defenses are breached. Then after scaling the various floors, they will probably find some information regarding to some dungeon that the crystal tower hides.

I expect Eureka to effectively be the Hard Mode for Crystal Tower, so maybe see it in 2.4 along side the other "hard" endgame content.

I just hope they can make Crystal Tower less like Pharos Sirius (which is a giant Lighthouse with... four floors?) and more like Nyzul Isle, which felt absolutely gigantic.

I hope we get to see Typhon.

I'd rather see a Nyzul Isle-like as its own thing, but I totally understand what you mean about the feeling of size and scale.

He doesn't have anything to do with the Crystal Tower in FFIII. I think they're saving him for something else, probably another dungeon's end boss or perhaps a Hildebrand quest fight.
