Suggestion for Atma

Apologies if someone's made a thread suggesting this same thing before.

Is there a "reason" for why we must have our Zenith equipped in order to be able to obtain Atma? I think it would be nice if the quest could only be unlocked by having a Zenith on the class you wish to get the Atma weapon for, but have the FATEs be done with whatever weapon/class. I don't mind the Atma grind at all, even if the RNG gods have been spitting at me for two weeks, but it would be nice to level some classes while doing this questline, so even if you don't get an Atma piece after a FATE, the experience gain feels like you're making some progress.

What are your thoughts on this?
