I am looking at getting a new keyboard and I am specifically looking at the Logitec G510s series due to the G keys. Are they considered automation or not, everything I have read is giving me a headache because some people say yes, others say no. I want to know before I spend the money since this is really the only game I play.

I've never seen any game that dictates the style of keyboard you use. It's not the keyboard it's how you use it that might be the concern. But seeing as the logitech series of keyboards are nothing more than macro based I don't see how they can be a problem.
Go for it. Just use your best judgement when using the g keys software for in game functions and you will be fine.
