When leveling up, go strength. Once you hit 50, re-spec to Vitality.
Strength will help you hold enmity while you wait for magical level 30.
Rotation is basically SE-BB-BB-BB. Repeat until win.
I've been tanking just fine pure vit. However, pure strength will help in the early game until you reach brayflox or higher by making it easier to hold aggro. With enough practice though, pure vit works just fine unless the DPS go out of their way to screw up aggro. (Even then, I usually can hold aggro for a while).
Not while leveling. You have to wait until 48 to get the 24 second duration on Maim. Before then, it's only 18 seconds. Until you get there, you should basically be using whatever part of the BB combo you've got while doing whatever part of the SP combo you've got to maintain the Maim debuff. I could go into the specific optimal combos at each point, but there's simply too many and, honestly, you progress through them too quickly for it to mean much.
One thing worth mentioning is your AOE threat skills, overpower & steel cyclone, wake sleeping enemies, whereas flash does not. So if you have a WHM or BLM sleeping most mob groups, you can use flash to ensure you have aggro on them (over the person who slept them) without waking them.
Already been said but, VIT.
I think the ideal is half and half or full Vit. Full strength makes me feel too squishy and warrior is a tank at the end of the day.
i have full str on i93WAR, vit does nothing in this game except give u more HP
if its something big i have i93PLD...
