Can't deal with Atma

Sorry SE,

I tried, I have put hours in and no Atma drop. I've even resorted to giving into conspiracy theories about the Japanese Standard Time grind (known as server time +1 to some), still nothing for hours.

I can't see the fun or use in doing fates endlessly, and the part that is most troubling is I'll be right back doing them when I get back to leveling my Bard and my Monk.

No one's holding a gun to my head to do this. Excluding the people who I inevitably have to party with who are going to start saying No Animus, No Soldiery Weap, No Allagan, No EX Levi Weap? Can't play with us, that's who's holding a gun to my head.

Let me go off on the Atma checklist:

Yes I have my Zenith equipped (plural actually as I get bored and switch to other classes with Zenith)

Yes I activated my Zodiac flag via the up in arms quest. (which was bizarre in of itself by the way)

I get gold/silver whatever, gold or silver never matters it doesn't drop.

Also,

I am disgusted by this system as it actually can make low level players have a harder time FATE leveling which also is one of the main methods of leveling certain classes.

These FATES get destroyed, particularly in low level zones and that just seems like a total waste of the system.

Would have been better if you at least made these Atma tie in to the hundreds of mobs out in the open field people (excluding bots) never grind.

Just let it die at the end of forum list....

FATEs aren't the main method for leveling anymore. You are not forced to get a ATMA weapon. I am doing just fine with the i100 Levi wep, and will upgrade to coil wep.

There are always more than 1 option don't pick the one with the biggest time sink, and complain about it.

I said FATES are one of the main sources of leveling.

Also,

Relics are supposed to be a part of your job's unique appearance/style, which is the main staple of Final Fantasy, the Job System. If you can't see why this would put many fans off, you're myopic and just want to grief people to feel better.

You can post a thread on feedback section and state what you want like : "I want to get atma every 5-10 FATEs".

And maybe after you get 12 Atma you want, "I want 150 mythology for each books".

For me, at least the open world more lively rather than see monsters solely everyday.

I don't mind the book part. It's the complete RNG FATE grind that bugs me, it feels like a hapless time sink. Keep in mind I've been at this for 16 hours total gametime and not a single drop. It doesn't even remotely make sense.

I recall spending less time consistently on Korean grind games to get FRAGMENTS of gear.

Coil is RNG too, but at least I gain some benefit to spamming it other than company seals (which I never need.).

I think you're mature enough to understand that when someone expresses frustration it's rude and likewise immature to try to utilize a condescending approach to dissuade them. This is a point of contention for a lot of people.

Let's just break this down:

Leviathan EX Weapons: Require a coordinated group to farm the Weapons / Mirrors, maybe I'm a casual (whom I'm sure you'll continue to grief to admitting so)

Soldiery Weapons: Require Turn 6 to acquire (See my Levi EX comment above)

Animus: Complete RNG, require complete game time devotion and for a large amount of the player base to no net result.

At Minimum they could at least alter the drop rate to 5, 10 or 15%. But 1 to 2 % is crazy for mere Fragments, pieces of an initial upgrade which doesn't even give any immediate stat change.
