In a party of 8, literally the first one to find Odin, threw an Aero to tag him, stayed the whole fight, spammed Medica/Cure III for overheal enmity, tried every other trick in the book, no credit while everyone else got silver.
This isn't the first time this is happening either (minus being first to tag). What am I doing wrong?
Depending on how many people are there, sometimes there's so many people throwing dots, Odin can only hold 16 dots. Because of the way the loading happens (stupidly), your hit might not even count because of such.
I was once unfortunate enough to not be in a party when Odin spawned, was on white mage. I casted regen on every player I could click on and spammed cure 2 on Odin's target. I got bronze. Had I been in a group, might've gotten better results. But so far it seems Odin FATE favours tanks. :S
I've never been able to achieve anything other than Silver and lower on Odin. Be it on Tank/DPS/Healer. I've even been there when he initially spawns, and have been the first to engage him, spamming skills over and over to no avail.
I'll get my Zantetsuken one day...
