external marketplace and retainer App/Website

I would like to see an external-webinterface, where you can open the marketboard, buy and sell stuff and check your retainers. A smartphone app would be nice, too.

In my opinion it should be a website accessed from the lodestone by chosing your char. Then you have basically the marketboard search interface, your inventory and gil plus a dropdown-menue for your retainers. Here you can do all the stuff you can do when you are logged in, even verntures.

You could also implement a search-engine for your inventory and your retainers like on the marketboard (implementing this in the game would be useful).

This will raise the undercutting to the next lv, imagin how ez it will be to make a web app to auto-undercut on MB.

Extraordinaire increase in the complexity of the game (Supporting not only multiple platforms, but multiple log in types), ripe for abuse, useful only to a small portion of the gaming population...

I'm all for being able to check your retainer status remotely (what has sold or not), but being able to "buy and sell" seems a bit unnecessary. It's not like we'd be able to craft anything with this app. This would also pose somewhat of a conflict of interest seeing as you can do all that remotely, with a PS4/Vita (remote play). I'm sure SE would much rather you fork over the cash for such a luxury.

While we're on the subject, it would also be nice if we could check our retainer sales status via the start menu, in game.

Lodestone seems to have a tab reserved for Retainers. I originally thought it was going to be at least possible to see your inventory online eventually, but now I'm thinking it will be to see the stats now that they can do ventures. I haven't played WoW in a while, but it had a Remote Auction House app/feature that cost an extra 3 dollars a month. I don't know if it still does, but if I was a busier man, I would like to see something like that for this game (although in my current situation, it would be useless to me). At the very least, to be able to adjust prices and sell from retainer inventory. I'm not going to get into it, but I don't understand people upset about undercutters. It's like you never heard of a free market. You don't control the price, no matter how much you invested into the item. Sorry.

I'm not so concerned about being able to buy and sell, but would love to be able to search prices, have an API so we can calculate averages, popular items etc.

I would love to see a site like FFXIAH.com for this game.

I have security concern on any external apps link to real time servers.
I recall last time some players were hacked by "auto purchase item", it was really surprising.
