Credit where credit is due

Not sure how touchy an issue this is. Also I'm not sure if it's actually a localisation issue or not, but given that it involves a lot of text, this felt like the best spot to point it out.

You can view the credits from the game's main menu. In it, the original team pre-changes are listed, with Tanaka still credited as producer and no mention of the new team or Yoshi-P. :confused:

Can we give credit where credit is due?

I just had a sit-down with the almighty Yoshi-P and we discussed this very issue. He seemed to agree that an update of the staff roll is long overdue, especially considering the number of new new faces to have joined the development team since the changing of the guards. The issue will be passed along to the project managers and hopefully we'll see a new set of credits in an upcoming patch.

I'd rather they focus on the game play, and not waste time on such trivial stuff!

Oh yes, updating a text file is going to take away SO much time from other projects.

It isn't just a single text file. They have to edit the .dat that would have the credits, calculate time spent in man hours into the budget, prime it for an update for the clients to download, not to mention other various oddities and tasks required for any part of the process.

You spent more effort coming up with a BS complaint than they will spend changing the credits.

You make a good point, Issachar, and as it turns out, this was also one of Yoshi-P's concerns, and that is why he was reluctant to say that an updated credits screen would definitely be in the next patch. In essence, we've added the task to the long list we already have, and it will be implemented once higher-priority issues have been addressed. That said, this isn't something that will be shelved and forgotten. A lot of people are working hard and we'll make sure that they are properly represented.

Seriously? Someone comes up with an actual respectful comment towards the dev team working on the game right now and you rude ass trolls have to say something stupid? Something like that even though it may seem pointless in some peoples eyes might mean a lot to the dev team working hard for your selfish ass so you can have a better game to play.

Keep up the great work dev team! Don't let the trolls get you down. There are some decent players supporting you and we will make sure your names get put into the credits!!!
