usb keyboard for the ps4

I plug in the keyboard and it reads it at the start. I log it in under my profile and it shows that it is there but when I go to start 14 it doesn't let me type almost like its dead which I know it isn't because I used it to play 14 on my ps3. Any ideas on what is wrong because I'm stumped

Does you keyboard not work in the game? For me the keyboard won't work on the launcher when logging in but once in the game then the keyboard works fine then.

Doesn't work anywhere on the ps4 or on 14
