If anyone has an official source or just personal experience as to how it is handled, I would appreciate the information.
The logical side of me is assuming that the game would just kick us out. However, I just wanted to make sure so that we don’t get ourselves locked out of T6 for the following week.

It would count as the new week I think. When doing tomes, you can start the dungeon before the reset, go past the reset while you're in there and it counts to the new week that just begun.
If you dont clear it, nothing happens. If you do, say goodbye to t6 for the week.
I was pretty curious about this too, but I sure didn't want to test it.
