I haven't really played for the last few months but for the past few days I've been attempting to give this game a second shot. One of the first things I've noticed is that the lag in this game seems worse now than when I was playing before. Reponses are slow and the effects and animations are delayed and choppy. Note I'm using the same gfx card as I have before when it wasn't bad so I'm going to rule that out as an issue.
I'm on Besaid server if that helps.
It's not only you when they shut down the game for 6hour to repair char rollback am getting very bad lag more then ever.

State how frequently the issue occurs. Please select from the following.

Which character did the issue occur with?
Race:
Race of your character when the issue occurred.

Date: yesterday at 8:30 PM EST, I logged out after a few minutes and then again at 9 or 10. The day before around 5 PM.
Frequency: always
Character: Linna Wintersun (the only one I have), Miqo'te
World: besaid as I said
Class: multiple classes; goldsmith and blacksmith but those were the only two I played
Class levels: 13, physical level 36
Area: I logged in at Girdiana and I noticed the game was a little slow and choppy when I was just moving around and doing a little looking. I ran to the SE bridge and logged out for a bit. I logged back in, problem still there. So I ran towards the nearby camp (the starter one to the south) to work on some guildleves. Then I did some crafting for the guildleves and logged out. During the whole time of running crafting, and talking to the NPCs, I had this issue.
